I am dedicating this page to all my friends, this was an adventure of a life time, shot and killed Sept 18th, 2007 at
6:05pm. The story's I can tell you are breath taking, it's an experiance you must have on your own! My day's began at 5am
and ended at 7:45pm everyday, taking a nap from 10:30am to 1:30 and then back out to the mountain, spotting and hiking an
average of 3-5 miles one way. By the end of the day your not even hungry, it just time to pass out! (La Ceda) Sr. did not
come with me, since there is to much walking and if you have an health issue, this is not your game.
It starts out by hiking and glassing the area around, as far as the eye can see, and in Utah the eye can see for 100
miles in a given day! On average, your spoting 2-4 miles around you. Once you have located the bull you want and trust me
you can see 15 or 20 everyday, its time to start planning a 5 mile addtional hike from the place your sitting. Below you will
see what I mean. I hope you can try to enjoy these pictures, I never forgot you guys and wished all of you could have been
there and woken up to the same thing I did every morning!
The bull weighed in at just 1100 Lbs, Elevation 8600' , I shot him at 336yds and offical certified SCI score was
330 inches without deductions, he was a typical Elk Bull! 6X6..... I have rebooked the hunt for next year, I will try for
a 380+ bull, same outfitter, different ranch.

The horses are used only to take out game! |
